Yeah I know...

2 weeks late. My reunion was 2 weeks ago and I'm just now giving you the run down... I've been busy AND I left the cord that connects my camera to my computer at my parents house in Florida. They mailed it to me and it arrived yesterday. :)

So, I already gave you the details on the trip down to Florida and Riley's phone call to 911, and a brief overview of our events .

Here's the rest of the story.

So we arrived at my parents house at 11:00 am. We ate a quick lunch. Rested for a few minutes and then it was off to the park. No pictures, but we got a ton of video. I'm still not sure how to upload only portions of the video... I don't think you want all 2 hours of footage that we took over the course of 4 days. :) You're welcome.

IT WAS REALLY HOT AT THE PARK.

Friday night we slept like LOGS!

Saturday morning we got up, had breakfast and hit the road to run a few errands before my high school marching band reunion.
Background... I was the drum major for 3 of my 4 years of marching band. (Yes, big dork... I know). A few friends of mine had mentioned that they would really like to have a band reunion so I enlisted their help (THANK YOU SO MUCH KRISTY AND HEATHER!!!) and we had a reunion.

I know I told you that between Kristy and I we would probably have 100s of pictures, but we have let you down. I'm so very sorry. I guess we got too busy talking, laughing, and looking at embarrassing photos that we just forgot about our cameras until the very end.

Here's what I did get.

Mason & Chandler

Mason is Kristy's son. This was our first time meeting Mason. He lived up to all of my expectations! He was just adorable and he and Chandler seemed to get along pretty well considering they are at that age when it's not always easy to "play well with others". :)

Chandler & Mason AGAIN!
I wish I had better photos of the two of them, but that is just my reminder that they had so much fun running around the room (and in and out of the building) that we could hardly get them to stand still long enough to take a picture together.
Maybe next time we'll get a better one!

Riley & Brandon.

Folks, Brandon was a real trooper! I'm sure it wasn't easy sitting around in a room full of strangers while your wife talks non-stop with her high school girlfriends. :)
I let him off the hook early. He took the girls (who were exhausted) and went home about half way through the get together and I caught a ride back to my parent's house with Kristy and Mason.

Here we are!
Starting in the back (left to right): Christina, Heather, Kristy, Crystal.
Front: Me and Kim
*Kim is the one who just found out she is having twins. :)

Kristy wrote a great blog about the 6 of us catching up after 10 years. She is also much better than me at photo editing!!!

Around 3:00 I made it back to the house. We rested for a little while and then it was time to start getting ready for the Class Reunion.

My parents packed the girls in the car and headed out to Chuck E. Cheese's.
For the month prior to this trip Chandler was CONSTANTLY reminding us that Grammy & Squire were going to take her and Riley to Chuck E. Cheese's.

You can tell how tired she is, despite her excitement.

Riley posing with Chuck E. himself.

Getting in a little driving time.

Big sister takes over.

Brandon and I got ready and headed over to the Holiday Inn for my class reunion.

I didn't get a picture of us all dressed up... I really wanted too, but in all the crazy excitement I just forgot.

Here's the best picture I have of my dress...

I met up with my high school drama teacher, Laurie Reeder.
She is a WONDERFUL person. I used to babysit her 3 daughters. One of which is named Chandler. :)

The reunion was... interesting. I don't know what I expected it to be like and this was my first class reunion so I don't have anything to compare it to.

Heather, Ben, Me and Kim.
We were the marching band representation for the class of 98. :)

We decided to leave the reunion a little early and meet Kristy and Christina at Chili's
Kristy graduated in 97 so her reunion was last year and Christina graduated with us, but chose not to go to the reunion.

The girls sat around and talked about who was at the reunion, who had changed, who hadn't changed, etc...
The husbands: Brandon, Gregg (Heather's husband), and Neill (Kim's husband) sat around and talked sports. :)
A BIG THANKS to Gregg and Neill. Brandon would have been BORED OUT OF HIS MIND if you hadn't come!! THANK YOU!!

We cannot and will not let another 10 years go by before getting together again... There was talk of getting together once a year (or atleast once every other year). I hope we are able to make it happen. :)

I found your blog quite by accident. I had my 30 year reunion last summer. It was so much fun. I stayed up later than I had in years and years. I caught up with old friends I had long forgotten about. One gal and I have reconnected and even gotten together a few times. It was so much fun. Your photos are great, glad I found your blog.

Your dress is so cute! Also, I love your short hair, it looks great on you. I could never have short hair, because of my giant face. I'm jealous.

Sounds like you had a great time!

For some reason I was positive I had commented on this post last week, but obviously I didn't. You look fabulous...absolutely adorable. I wish I could pull off your haircut, but I just don't think it would look as good on me as it does on you. :)
