Sorry...

I've been "away" for a few days. You may or may not have noticed. :)

My newest obsession, Twilight (previous reference here) has come to a close. NOT the obsession... just the book saga. The 4th (and final book) in the series was released on Saturday and I have hardly been able to tear myself away from it.

As I read:
At first I was happy, then disappointed, then confused, then I had a moment of enlightenment, then I was confused again, then relieved, then pleased, then sad (to the point of TEARS PEOPLE), then encouraged, then excited, then a brief moment of nostalgia set in. In the end I was left with a feeling of satisfaction rather than the feeling of sadness and emptiness I was half-way expecting.

Yes, all from one book. Of course, 754 pages is a lot of time to evoke a lot of emotion. :)

Whoa! I need a nap! :)

Now I feel like I must go buy the book! Maybe I should just re-read the rest of the series, to tide me over until the library gets it (yes, I am THAT cheap!)

Now I am just plain intrigued. Any book that can draw out that whole myriad of emotions must be worth reading.

I probably would have had that range of emotions when I read the book if I hadn't been cringing the entire time. Too much stress regarding the fates of people! [and yes, I'm going back over all of your Twilight posts and commenting on some of them now that I know what you're talking about :)]
